2022 Monte Bernardi 'MB 1933' Chianti Classico DOCG, Tuscany, Italy Maison Stephan ALl old vines which were then is racked off ALl old vines which were dried out on straw mats for 5 months before being rasied in wood for 6 years This block has been farmed organically since inception it wad farmed conventionally but hes getting it back online with his hyper philosophy of organic farming (hes Bio and Panazano is the only subzone which requires all DOCG wines to be organically farmed) and I visited Michael Schmelzer (last international trip in the before times) and he was excited about the site: higher in elevation then his immediate estate and with vines going back to the 1930s
